MTME Release Day: Blooming Wonderful Ideas!

Whoot!  Whoot!  It is finally here...release day for My Time Made Easy.  You are gonna love what is in store for you.  There are so many great things being released, that it was hard to decide which one I wanted to make first.  The template I made for today is the Blue Collar template.  I wanted to put a little feminine flair on this, so you could see all the possibilites this template offers.
Isn't this too sweet?!  I am so in love with this template.  I used the new paper too.  It is from the Vintages Flourishes Bright paper pack.  I added some pearl bling and some roses down the middle.
I put a little bow at the neck, some trim on the collar and a little rose pendant that I made using a Mold Muse mold with some Sculpey clay.  And I just love the little necklace.  I used some pearls and the dangling pearl was from trim stash that I had.

And of course what would a goodie box be without some cute little trinkets for your feet and toes.  And since I made this for my very sweet mom for Mother's Day, I needed a card to match.
I am so smitten with roses and flowers, but roses are my mother's very favorite flower, so what better way to embellish a card, but with roses.  I used a doily that I colored and the Vintage Flourishes Bright paper again.  I used some seam binding for the bow and another Sculpey flower I made in the middle.
This stamp is from the Spring in Bloom stamp set.  I used a little glitter in the middle of the butterfly, and surrounded it with some roses ribbon trim with the little pearl on the bottom.
And here they are together.  So do you think my mom will like it?  I sure hope so.

Please check in with the other girls on the team and see what they came up with.  Everyone is doing a little something different, so it should be fun!  Don't forget to stop by the gallery over at MTME to get a little inspiration!!

Thanks for stopping by!

May Release Preview Day 2: Seas The Day

Hello, everyone!  Today is an exciting day at My Time Made Easy.  This is the second preview day, and my first project for the May release.  I am so excited cuz there are some really great things in this release.  My project today is using the Treasured template.  Obviously it makes a super treasure chest, and I can't wait to use it for that, but since Father's Day is coming up, this is what I came up with!
Isn't this too cute.  I always have a hard time coming up with things that are masculine, because that's not easy for me, but my dad loves to both barbecue and eat barbecue, so I used the template to make him his own little barbecue.
For the decorative pieces I ran them through a Cuttlebug embossing folder to give it that texture that a barbecue has.  I altered the handles from the template to make them a little longer and them silver heat embossed them to make them look like metal as well as the piece on the front.  While the embossing was still hot, I stamped it with the Puckered Up Patterns acrylic stamp set

Here is what it looks like opened up.  I put in some barbecue seasoning and a gift card to my dad's favorite restaurant, Red Lobster.
I also made him a Father's Day card with the new stamp set Dad's Day to Relax...too cute!  The spatula and mitts are from the What's Cookin stamp set.  I glittered the spatula to make it shiny and colored the mitts with Copics and then used glitter pen for the quilting.
Here is a closeup of the card.  I used the same stamp emboss technique for the layer behind the stamp.  I thought that turned out really cool.
And, again, another picture of the card.  I really enjoyed making this and the Treasured template goes together so fast.  I know I am going to have to make another one as a true treasure chest with all sorts of frills and flowers!  Can't wait!

That's all I have for today, but please stop by the other teamies that are on tap to show you what they have in store for you.  Don't forget to come back tomorrow for the Release.  It's gonna be great!

JUGS #132 Challenge

The card I am posting I made for the Just Us Girls Challenge #132.  It is the technique week, and sponging is what we are challenged with.

I just love this technique.  I have tried it a few times, and the results are always fun!  You never know what you are going to come up with until it's done.

So here is my card.  I made this with the Singing Silhouette Stamp Set from My Time Made Easy.  I used the bird cage and birdie from it.  MTME has both acrylic and digital on some of their stamp sets, and I used the acrylic for this card.
I used the sponging technique on the top of the card and then added the bird cage and decorated that with a bit of stickles a bow and a little gem.  Isn't this cute?
And here is the card with the envelope that I stamped a little birdie on.
 Thanks for stopping by!

I just wanted to give a big thank you to them for picking my card.  You should stop by and look at their next challenge #7 which is die cuts.  Should be fun!

Crafty Friends Challenge CFC1 and CR84FN51 Challenge

Hi, all!  I have a little card for you that I thought would be fun to do.  I knew I wanted to make something vintage  for the Crafty Friends Challenge and then follow the colors for the CR84FN Challenge.

This is the first challenge that Crafty Friends is having, and I am excited to join in on it.  They have asked for something vintage, and I didn't want to do the normal, so this is what I came up with.

I just love the colors for the CR84FN challenge.  They are so soft and feminine.  I used the papers from SEI's April release.  I punched out a heart and added peach glitter to it and added some flowers from the SEI kit with a resin rose on the top left corner.
The bicycle is from the SEI release and then my rose trim is from SA Crafters.  I love her videos on Youtube and you can purchase some beautiful embellies from her Zibbet site here.
And the scalloped trim is also from the SEI April kit.  Aren't the patterns so sweet?

Thank you so much for stopping by and let me know what you think!

Sugarcreek Hollow Challenge #6

Hey, everyone!  I am so excited for the month of April.  The warm weather is here and the flowers are blooming, and I am planting some veggies and herbs.  What could be better?  How about a card with a bunch of flowers in my very favorite colors!

This card is for the Sugarcreek Hollow Challenge #6 Florals
Aren't these colors yummy?  I just love pastels.  I find myself creating a lot of my designs with yellows, pinks and blues and a touch of green.  Of course, you have to have a little bling!

If you are wondering how I made this, you really need to head over to The Cutting Cafe.  They have cutting files and digital stamps to die for.  This card template is one of my favorites.  It is called Flower Pot Shaped Card Template.
The flowers on the card also come with the template.  They come in all different sizes that you layer together.  I cut mine out of white cardstock with my Cricut and then sponged the different colors to give some shading.  I used some of my own goodies to embellish and give it that bouquet look to it.
Here is another closeup of all the deliciousness.  I love all the dimension this card gets.  It makes me so excited for the spring!

I hope you enjoyed this project.  Please let me know what you think and thank you for visiting!

Just Us Girls #131 and PDCC 126 Challenges

The Just Us Girls Challenge #131 has a sketch challenge this week.  I really like this layout, so I thought I would give it a try.  As well, The Play Date Cafe color challenge has some great colors.  So with those two in mind, this is what I came up with...
I love the bold colors.  I am glad I did this challenge because I normally wouldn't pair these colors together, but I think it turned out really pretty.
This is the first time I have made a flower like this.  I really love roses and have seen these all over the place using the 5 petal punch, so I thought, I am just going to go for it and see what I come up with.  Pretty cool, huh?!  I really thought it turned out pretty good -- I'm just sayin!

Thanks for stopping by and, hopefully, you enjoyed my project.  Please, let me know what you think.

MTME April - A Year In Review

These past few days have been so exciting at My Time Made Easy.  Of course, this release was super for me because it was my first.  I hope you are having fun.  I can't wait to bring this next Easter basket to you.  I love this time of year...Spring...Easter...and, of course, my daughter's birthday.  She turned 7 on the 31st.  Can you believe it?!
Oh, my gosh, isn't this the most adorable basket?  I just love all the yummy things on this.  I used the Berry Sweet Basket template.  I was so surprised at how big the basket is.  It easily held my quart size jar inside.
Too cute!  This uses the Spring is Here Stamp.  I colored in the bunny and then cut him out to put on the jar as the tag.
My card uses the Darling Dots paper with the Border Builders Zig Zag cut file.  I thought that matched nicely with the lace on the basket.  I used the Well Preserved cut file for the jar and the Hot Ticket for the Easter Wishes.  My very favorite is the rose.  This is the Rolled Bloom Scalloped.
I used the rose on the card and the ends of the handle of the basket.  I used some chunky glitter around the rose and pearl stems.
And here is what is in my basket.  I put a cookie mix in the jar and put a tag and ribbon around the lid.  The tag is the Well Preserved cut file that I enlarged with the same bunny from Spring is Here stamp set that I enlarged and cut out.
I can't take credit for how cute this is.  I got the idea from Michelle Wooderson.  Her blog is Mish Mash.  She has the directions on how to put all the ingredients together and the recipe on her site here.
Here is my basket again.  If you can see the egg in the background, that is a ceramic egg that my mom made for me.  I just couldn't resist using it in my pictures.

Thank you all for stopping by and seeing all my April release projects for My Time Made Easy.  Please take a look at what the other girls on the team have designed for you!

MTME April Post Release

I am back with another project for My Time Made Easy.  I hope you are enjoying the April release projects as much as I am enjoying making them.

Our assignment for today was to create something using both old and new products and here is what I came up with.
I used the new Card Cover Up Template to make a card holder.  I think I am really going to like this template.  I used some bright colors from the Color Infusion paper pack.  Isn't this great paper?
Here are a few of my cards that I designed to go with the set.  I used a doily that I stamped with the Puckered Paper Design acrylic stamp set.  All three different papers are from the Color Infusion paper pack.
This little butterfly turned out so cute.  I cut it out using the Bloom Builders cut file and then embossed it with a green glitter embossing powder and added two rhinestones to the middle.
Here are the cards all laid out.  Don't those colors make you feel cheery?  I stamped the butterfly on the top of the card with the All A Flutter acrylic stamp set.  I used the Spring is Here digital stamp set for the labels.  Aren't they cute?
This is a closer look at the label.  I used a little twine to wrap around the card and tied a little bow.   So let me know what you think of all these new releases, and please stop by the MTME shop to see all the new products.  I know you will love them as much as I do.

Please take a look at what the other design team members have put together for you.  It is such a treat.  They are such talented women.  They just make you want to create more goodies!

I have a special treat to show everyone on the 4th, so make sure you come back and see my Easter goodies!  Thanks for visiting.

MTME THE COMPLETE PACKAGE

MTME Release Day!

Here it is, release day.  This is what you have all been waiting for!  Do you have your coffee or tea?  I will apologize in advance, cuz this is a little long, but I couldn't help it...you'll see why.
Oh, my gosh, isn't this too cute?  I love this paper and the whole concept of this template.  It is called Com-pleatly.  This is what it looks like all bundled up, and here it is on top.
Can you say adorable?  This flower is so cute.  I know I will be using it a lot in the future.  I used the new Rolled Bloom-Scalloped cut file.  I printed out the PDF version and then cut it by hand.  It takes only a few minutes and is super easy to put together.
Don't you love the softness the felt gives this flower?  I will definitely be making more of these.
Here is the Com-pleatly Template opened up with my little goodie boxes inside.  I put labels on the top.
Here is another look at the boxes with their labels.  If you notice,  I enlarged the Fine Finish Tag to make a bigger label and I embossed it with a gray embossing powder to make it look like metal.
Inside the box with the label Clips are five clothes pins that I covered with the Spring Abound Paper and gray embossing powder.  I put little Prima flowers and buttons on a couple and then I made a few ribbon roses for the other three.
How fun to clip paper with, don't ya think?
In my Memo pad box I handmade a memo pad...so much fun.  I printed the design paper in the middle of the paper and then cut it down the middle and trimmed to fit the size I needed.  I used a little sticky tape on the top of the paper and then washi tape to cover that up...and voila, a memo pad.  Love it!
And here is the overall with the cards and everything.  Are you loving this paper?  It is so elegant.  Definitely a must have.
So there you have it.  The gift package that fits inside the Com-pleatly gift set.  The boxes are a very good size, so that you could put so many different things in them.
I hope you all enjoyed this post.  I had so much fun making this project and I hope you will all stop by the other design team member blogs.  Please come back tomorrow for more surprises.

Also, if you get a chance, you can find more goodies at the MTME gallery.
